Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) does not represent the people of Utah. A review of Lee’s legislation and his campaign donations leads you to his constituents. Ever wonder why Lee does nothing as the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy & Consumer Rights to defend the Bill of Rights? The answers to the questions above can be found on the Federal Election Commission’s website (fec.gov).
Recently, Lee introduced a bill (S.386) designed to assist outsourcing companies in India to hire more people to lease to “American” corporations by lifting the country cap on work permits and green cards. S.386 eliminates the per-country numerical limitation for employment-based immigrants, increases the per-country numerical limitation for family-sponsored immigrants, and other job-killing measures to satisfy his corporate masters.
S.386 provides an “Early Filing” open-door rule that allows foreign workers who are waiting for work permits or green cards to speed up the process by applying to the Secretary of Homeland Security for an adjustment of status [to a legal resident] to move Lee’s corporate donors’ cheap labor to America. which means more Americans lose their jobs. How could a U.S. Senator draft and sponsor legislation that will destroy the livelihoods of millions of his fellow Americans?
Lee and the co-sponsors of S.368 devised a bill that does the following for their corporate donors:
- Eliminates country caps thereby providing more work permits and green cards to countries like India. The outsourcing companies “American” corporations use will have more workers to lease to them.
- Makes it possible for outsourcing companies in India to dangle more work permits and green cards in front of their workers to motivate them to work for low wages by promising them entry into the United States.
- Clears out the backlog of 600,000 Indian contract workers and family members who are waiting for green cards. The “Early Filing” clause in S.368 provides a backdoor to the employment-based, Indian applicants.
- Corporations use “Early Filing” clause to move cheap, foreign labor to America, which allows them to terminate millions of Americans by filling up their workplaces with foreign workers in the H-1B program.
Lee’s legislation does nothing to enrich America or Americans, it allows his corporate donors to quench their insatiable appetite for foreign, cheap labor.
Lee is dedicated to providing a steady stream of cheap labor to his corporate donors and is also committed to providing them immunity from laws and regulations.
Years ago, Lee voluntarily placed a yoke around his neck and committed to displacing American workers in exchange for campaign contributions. When you review Lee’s campaign donations on the Federal Election Commission’s website, you see the reasons that Lee refuses to use his chairmanship of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy & Consumer Rights to defend freedom of speech and bust up the monopolies of the fascists who run Twitter, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Instagram, Reddit, Apple, Mozilla, PayPal, et al. The following is a list of the reasons Lee ignores the anti-American actions of Big Tech communists:
Charter Communications – $41,400
Microsoft Corporation – $33,050
Yelp, Inc. – $28,700
Comcast Corp. – $28,100
Google, Inc. – $21,900
Facebook, Inc. – $16,000
Oracle Corp. – $12,000
Amazon – $12,502
Alphabet, Inc. (Google) – $10,800
The donations listed above were made in 2020. Over the years, Lee has collected hundreds of thousands of dollars from corporations such as Google in exchange for protection from anti-trust laws and the preservation of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act that shields Twitter, Facebook, Google, et al. from lawsuits.
Senator Mike Lee is owned and operated by Big Tech. Lee sacrifices Americans’ jobs and fundamental rights because that’s what his corporate donors demand in exchange for their donations.
