Evil Begets Evil
A fetus extracted intact and alive during an abortion is a born-alive infant under federal law and any further action taken to kill him or her is homicide. (1 U.S. Code 8)
Partial birth abortion is a federal felony punishable by up to 2 years in prison and/or a fine up to $250,000. (18 U.S. Code 1531)
Buying or selling human body parts is a federal felony. (42 U.S. Code 274e)
The commercial traffick of body parts from an aborted baby is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $500,000. (42 U.S. Code 289g-2)
It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly acquire, receive, or otherwise transfer any human fetal tissue for valuable consideration. ( 42 U.S. Code 289g-2)
The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) has released two videos in which members of CMP posed as buyers looking to purchase fetal organs and body parts from Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PP). One video features PP Senior Director of Medical Services Deborah Nucatola. Nucatola is a “physician” who splits her time between murdering babies at PP and Sexual Health Innovations (SHI), an organization founded by former Obama White House staffer Jessica Ladd. The second video CMP released features Mary Gatter, a “physician” who serves as the medical director at a PP affiliate in Pasadena, California. Nucatola and Gatter are examples of what human beings are capable of when they are stripped of God and morality.
When you watch the videos, you’re struck by how cavalier, arrogant, and business-like Nucatola and Gatter were when describing how they perform abortions and the processes they use to harvest organs and body parts. Gatter appears to be very proud of how she uses a “less crunchy” technique, IPAS (manual vacuum aspiration). Manual vacuum aspiration provides less suction, which makes it easier to extract intact “specimens” (4:37). The Reproductive Health Technologies Project calls the manual vacuum aspiration “one of the safest medical procedures.” It doesn’t sound safe for the baby.
Nucatola is just as proud of her work as Gatter. She enjoys a salad and red wine while proudly explaining to the buyers how she can efficiently extract intact organs and body parts to sell. She waxes poetic about how she flaunts federal law when she performs partial-birth abortions. Nucatola explains, “The federal [partial-birth] abortion ban is a law, and laws are up to interpretation, so if I say on day one, I do not intend to do this, what ultimately happens doesn’t matter” (5:06). Liberals are so clever!
Nucatola and Gatter are quite wicked. I know human beings are capable of being evil, but Nucatola and Gatter go beyond the evil of a murderer or rapist. The women obviously cleansed themselves of any religious or moral teaching long ago and replaced it with nihilism. Nihilism naturally leads to moral relativism, which leads to selfishness and materialism.
A recent article in The Imaginative Conservative titled When Will They Believe in Hell is apropos to the selling of organs by PP, Nucatola, and Gatter. The author, Dwight Longenecker, writes about how people don’t seem to believe in hell anymore.
Longenecker writes, “Someone once asked the famous mystic Padre Pio, what he thought of modern people who didn’t believe in hell. His blunt reply was, “They will believe in hell when they get there.” I submit to you that Nucatola, Gatter, and the rest of the people who work for PP are examples of what human beings are capable of when they think there is no God, therefore, no hell. When people don’t believe in God, or believe in God, but do not think God would ever send someone to hell, they are capable of very nasty deeds.
It is safe to assume that Nucatola and Gatter believe there is nothing beyond their individual lives. They are second to none, and they are consumed with gaining as much as they can in this life. What you see in the videos are two nihilists who exhibit the natural characteristics of nihilists, coldness, callousness, selfishness, and moral depravity.
Nucatola and Gatter are champions of Roe v. Wade. They are the women who proclaim that they are murdering babies to remove the shackles of male patriarchy. The two women, and people like them, tell people abortion is about protecting young, poor girls and women from the evil Christians who want to force them to raise the babies who were conceived by mistake. The poor girls’ lives will be ruined without access to abortion clinics that offer a convenient way to erase their mistakes. It is not a baby; it’s a choice.
Abortion is a violent, evil act that murders the defenseless. Nucatola, Gatter, and PP double down on the evil by harvesting and selling the organs and body parts of the babies they murder. When will they believe in hell?
